Two Title Fights Headline Titan FC 80

On Friday, November 18th, Titan FC returns to host Titan FC 80 at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale, FL. The card includes six pro MMA bouts including two battles for Titan FC gold. In a card filled with high level talent, we are here to highlight the headliner and co-main event. Landon Quinones (6-1-1) vs. Yemi Oduwole (9-3) In our headliner, Titan FC Lightweight champion Landon Quinones defends his strap for the first time against crafty mixed martial artist Yemi Oduwole. Kill Cliff FC and ATT Wolfpack’s Quinones has won four straight including a relatively dominant performance in his last outing against Reynaldo Acevedo at Titan FC 75. In his pro career, the 26-year old has earned finishes in five of his six victories, three of which ending in round one. Quinones is known as a very well rounded martial artist who never seems to step off the gas. He’s the aggressor in most stand up battles, but he knows when it’s time to use his grappling. The South Florida native is a standout prospect and is realistically a win or two away from a call up with a major organization. Yemi Oduwole makes his Titan FC debut riding a four fight win streak as well. The 32-year-old Georgia native has won back to back bouts by finish. Despite a standout striking game, he has some sneaky chokes earning wins by Peruvian neck tie and D’arce choke in the past. He does his training at Knuckle Up Fitness in Douglasville, GA and is set for his first challenge for gold as a pro MMA fighter. The veteran has taken part in 21 pro and amateur MMA bouts. This will be an absolute war between two warriors in our headliner. Ira Lukowsky (3-0) vs. Wendel Araujo (6-3) Ira Lukowsky put his Bantamweight strap on the line for the first time against the always electric Wendel Araujo. Lukowsky is a blast to watch throw down. In his Titan FC debut, he starched Alberto Montes with a right hand earning a clean knockout victory and the Titan FC Bantamweight championship. The 35-year-old striker carries vicious one-punch KO power and can put your lights out at any moment in a fight. Despite his hands, he’s shown promise in the wrestling department as well. Training at St. Charles MMA in Missouri, he shares a gym with PFL’s Elmar Umarov. In this bout, look for the champ to try and limit the movement of his opponent and find a way to finish the fight. Wendel Araujo is a walking electric factory. The “Cobra” is known for his expertise in capoeira and fights a similar style to his main training partner, former Titan FC Lightweight champion and current UFC Lightweight, Rafael Alves. Training at MMA Masters, it’s no secret he gets high level looks with training partners like Alves, Miguel Baeza and Richard Mayol and coaches Daniel Valverde and Cesar Carneiro. Araujo’s movement creates openings and angles for him to land clean shots on the feet. His scrambles on the ground are also a pleasure to watch. Despite his intriguing style, this will be his second pro MMA bout since 2017. He earned this title shot after scoring a majority decision victory in the title eliminator at Titan FC 77. Overall, these two title bouts are bound to be filled with action. Do not miss it!
